Description
This Jason Tabor German butterscotch rag micarta sway back knife is a prime example of modern American craftsmanship, built with premium materials and traditional precision.
Handmade by Jason Tabor of Minnesota, USA, this 3⅝″ slipjoint knife features a 2¾″ flat ground Wharncliffe blade crafted from CPM-154 stainless steel. The hand-rubbed satin finish highlights a clean false edge and smooth transitions from blade to bolster. Blade action is exceptionally tight with crisp half stops and authoritative snap.
The handle features German Butterscotch Rag Micarta scales fitted over integral stainless liners, accented with deeply grooved, pinched bolsters and a polished “bomb”-shaped shield. This piece perfectly balances elegance and utility — a hallmark of the Tabor lineage, influenced by his father David Tabor and mentor Tony Bose.
Mint condition — never used, sharpened, or carried. Ships in a zippered storage pouch.
