Description
This Remington black lip pearl yellowhorse painted pony muskrat knife represents one of the most exclusive collaborations in the knife world — a union between Navajo artist David Yellowhorse and Michael Prater of Painted Pony Knives. Limited to only ten total pieces, this #5/10 showcases both artists’ signature craftsmanship, intricate materials, and hallmark attention to detail.
On one side, Yellowhorse’s work features a hand-cut nickel silver Howling Wolf inlay, set against Black Jet, Bloody Jasper, and Wild Horse Jasper. His engraved logo and signature adorn the blade, which also features a textured finish and fileworked backspring.
The reverse side, completed by Painted Pony, highlights striking Black Lip Pearl and Wild Horse Jasper with an engraved signature and “#5/10” marking. Every detail, from the engraved nickel silver bolsters to the precisely fileworked liners, reflects hours of handwork and precision.
The dual 440C stainless steel clip blades ensure this collectible remains as functional as it is beautiful. Measuring 3½” closed, it’s compact yet substantial in hand. Each knife is individually signed and numbered by both artists and includes a Case XX black zippered pouch and a Painted Pony clear magnetic display stand.
This Yellowhorse x Painted Pony muskrat is not just a knife — it’s a one-of-a-kind work of art and heritage, blending Native American tradition with modern custom craftsmanship.
