Description
The case wild horse custom saddlehorn knife is an elegant limited edition from acclaimed knife artist J. Kidd, owner of Wild Horse Custom Knives. Produced in a small run of only 25 knives, each example is signed and numbered, making it a highly collectible addition to any Case or custom knife collection.
The handles are crafted from 20,000-year-old exhibition-grade Mammoth Bark Fossil, mined from the Siberian permafrost and polished to a remarkable shine. These fossilized handles are framed by engraved nickel silver bolsters, along with a finely fileworked backspring and fileworked liners, hallmarks of Kidd’s meticulous craftsmanship.
This Saddlehorn pattern is fitted with Damascus steel blades, featuring a layered wave pattern unique to Damascus forging. At 3 1/2 inches closed, the compact Saddlehorn offers both portability and presence, combining Case XX’s traditional design with J. Kidd’s custom artistry.
Presented brand new in a Bubinga wood display box with a Certificate of Authenticity, the case wild horse custom saddlehorn knife is more than a functional slipjoint — it is a collectible work of art. For those who value rare materials and limited-production customs, this knife is an opportunity not to be missed.
