The antique bone bill ruple axe handle knife represents one of Case XX’s most exciting modern collaborations. Built on the distinctive Axe Handle lockback pattern, this 2024 release was designed in partnership with renowned knifemaker Bill Ruple. Each knife blends traditional Case craftsmanship with modern premium steel and design innovation.
The knife measures 4.4 inches closed and weighs 4.2 ounces, giving it a sturdy yet refined feel in hand. Its 3.46-inch clip point blade is crafted from 154CM stainless steel, wire-cut and flat taper ground for excellent cutting performance. The satin finish enhances the steel’s visual appeal while maintaining durability for both use and display.
The handles are crafted from jigged antique bone, paired with satin-finished stainless bolsters milled from a one-piece liner for smooth operation and clean lines. Case’s arrowhead shield is pinned into the bone, adding to the knife’s premium aesthetic.
This edition is strictly limited to only 200 pieces in antique bone, with each knife arriving brand new in its original box and accompanied by a padded suede leather storage pouch.
