Description
The wild horse mammoth art deco trapper is a limited custom by knife artist J. Kidd of Wild Horse Custom Knives, transforming the classic Case XX Trapper with ancient fossil handles and extensive hand embellishment. Individually signed and numbered #01 of only 25 made, this collector piece features 20,000-year-old Blue Parallel Cut Mammoth Fossil mined from the permafrost in Siberia, Russia, finished with an amazing shine.
The Blue Parallel Cut Mammoth Fossil displays distinctive natural patterning developed over thousands of years. Engraved nickel silver bolsters and backsprings frame the fossil with polished detail, while fileworked liners extend the custom craftsmanship throughout the wild horse mammoth art deco trapper.
Stainless steel blades complete the traditional multi-blade Trapper configuration, allowing the ancient handle material and detailed embellishment to command attention. At 4 1/8 inches closed, the full-size frame provides ample presence for J. Kidd’s engraving and filework.
This wild horse mammoth art deco trapper is individually signed and numbered #01 in a limited production of only 25 pieces. Presented new in a high-end Case XX Taco Pouch with Certificate of Authenticity, it combines Blue Mammoth Fossil, engraved nickel silver, and detailed filework in a distinctive Wild Horse Custom collector piece.
