The case amber bone axe handle is a limited custom from Wild Horse Custom Knives, #06 of 100. Hand-fired Peachseed Amber Bone handles, engraved nickel silver bolsters, fileworked liners and a worked backspring turn the classic Case XX Axe Handle into a true collector’s piece, finished with scrolled Tru-Sharp stainless steel blade.

Hand-fired Peachseed Amber Bone is the heart of this knife. Peachseed jigging cuts deep, textured grooves into the bone, and the hand-fired treatment brings out rich, warm amber tones. Because each pair of covers is fired by hand, no two knives in the run look exactly alike.

The Axe Handle is named for its profile, which echoes the curve of an axe handle. At 4 inches closed, it fills the hand well and gives the bone and engraving a generous canvas.

The custom work continues throughout the build. Engraved nickel silver bolsters frame the bone with polished contrast, the liners are fileworked, and the backspring is worked along its length.
